"THIS IS AN HARD SAYING WHO CAN HEAR IT?"

"CHRIST JESUS TELLS US THAT WE MUST EAT HIS FLESH AND DRINK HIS BLOOD TO OBTAIN ETERNAL LIFE"
Now don't be offended like Christ's early disciples were; when Christ Jesus said we must eat His flesh and drink His blood to obtain Eternal Life He was talking about a spiritual parallel:

JOHN 6
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

"NOW FOR THE INTERPRETATION"
Below are two columns that contain the scripture above that you just read in a manner that will help you understand what Christ is saying. In the left-hand column we have John 6:53-63 as it is written in the Bible with brackets that contain explanatory commentary; and in the right-hand column we have John 6:53-63 paraphrased with verses 55 through 59 left out for clarity:

JOHN 6:53-63 WITH BRACKET INSERTS JOHN 6:53-63 PARAPHRASED
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up [to Heaven] where he was before [and just leave you here]?
63 [Then Jesus explains to them what the flesh and blood that they must eat really is by saying,] It is the spirit that quickeneth [makes alive]; the [eating of my] flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are [eternal] life.

JOHN 6
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Truly, truly, I say unto you, Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
54 Whoso eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
   55 . . . . . . .

   56 . . . . . . .

   57 . . . . . . .

   58 . . . . . . .

   59 . . . . . . .

60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Does this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up to Heaven where he was before and just leave you here?
63 Then Jesus explains to them what the flesh and blood that they must eat really is by saying, It is the spirit that makes alive; the eating of my flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are eternal life.

"NOW, IF YOU STUDIED THE TWO COLUMNS ABOVE THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE TO COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT WHEN CHRIST JESUS SAID YOU MUST EAT HIS FLESH AND DRINK HIS BLOOD TO OBTAIN ETERNAL LIFE ACCORDING TO THE LAST VERSE JOHN 6:63 THE SPIRITUAL PARALLEL FOR CHRIST'S FLESH AND BLOOD ARE HIS WORD AND SPIRIT"
"STILL NOT SURE, THEN COMPARE THE VERSES THAT CONTAIN THE ACTUAL PARALLEL: NOTE THAT EACH VERSE CONTAINS TWO DIFFERENT COMPONANTS THAT EQUAL THE SAME EXACT THING. IN JOHN 6:54 WE READ THAT HIS FLESH AND BLOOD EQUAL ETERNAL LIFE AND IN JOHN 6:63 WE READ HIS WORD AND SPIRIT EQUAL ETERNAL LIFE"
JOHN 6:54
FLESH AND BLOOD = ETERNAL LIFE
JOHN 6:63
WORD AND SPIRIT = ETERNAL LIFE
JOHN 6
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
JOHN 6
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are [eternal] life.

"AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THESE EXCERCISES, THE SPIRITUAL PARALLEL FOR CHRIST'S FLESH AND BLOOD THAT YOU MUST EAT TO OBTAIN ETERNAL LIFE IS HIS WORD AND SPIRIT. WHICH JUST HAPPEN TO BE THE ORIGINAL FORM OF CHRIST JESUS: BEFORE CHRIST BECAME FLESH AND BLOOD HE WAS WORD AND SPIRIT"
"THESE NEXT THREE VERSES REVEAL THE FACT THAT BEFORE CHRIST JESUS BECAME FLESH AND BLOOD, HE WAS WORD AND SPIRIT (YOU HAVE TO USE DEDUCTIVE REASONING HERE)"
JOHN 1:1 SAYS IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD AND THE WORD WAS GOD.
JOHN 1
1 In the beginning was the Word [speaking of Christ Jesus], and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. . . .
JOHN 4:24 SAYS GOD IS A SPIRIT.
JOHN 4
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. . . .
JOHN 1:14 SAYS THE WORD WHICH WAS GOD AND SPIRIT BECAME HUMAN (FLESH AND BLOOD).
JOHN 1
14 And the Word [which was God (John 1:1), which is Spirit (John 4:24)] was made flesh [human], and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

"AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE VERSES ABOVE, THE ORIGINAL FLESH (BODY) AND BLOOD OF CHRIST JESUS BEFORE HE BECAME A MAN WAS WORD AND SPIRIT; THEREFORE WHEN WE WILLINGLY EAT OR CONSUME THE WORD OF GOD WE CONSUME CHRIST AND (AS CHRIST SAID) WHEN WE CONSUME CHRIST WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE"
"BUT WAIT, AREN'T YOU TEACHING THAT THE SINLESS SACRIFICE OF CHRIST JESUS' FLESH AND BLOOD ON THE CROSS UNTO GOD HAS NO PROFIT WHEN THE WORD OF GOD CLEARLY TEACHES THAT WE ARE RECONCILED UNTO GOD IN THE BODY OF HIS FLESH THROUGH THE DEATH OF CHRIST (COLOSSIANS 1:21&22)?"

No, I am not! You need to understand the context of which Christ Jesus is speaking. Listen to what Christ says, "It is the Spirit that quickeneth [makes alive]; the flesh profiteth nothing". Did You hear it? Christ Jesus is saying that apart from the Spirit the Flesh profits nothing... For example: You could cut off the arms and legs of Christ Jesus, drain a cup of blood from His veins and sit down and eat His flesh and drink His blood to the full, but unless He (Christ) puts His Spirit in You (causes You to be Born Again), You will still be as dead as when You started to eat and drink... The flesh and blood (Sacrifice) of Christ profits You nothing without the workings of the Holy Spirit causing You to be Born Again... And that's what Christ was saying:

JOHN 6
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth [makes alive]; the flesh profiteth nothing [unless the Spirit causes You to be Born Again]: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are [eternal] life.

"CONSUME THE WORD AND SPIRIT (FLESH AND BLOOD) OF CHRIST JESUS TODAY AND RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE"
JOHN 6
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh [the Word of God], and drinketh my blood [the Spirit of God], hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

JOHN 6
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth [makes alive]; the [eating of my] flesh profiteth nothing [unless the Spirit causes You to be Born Again]: the words [of God] that I [Christ Jesus] speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are [eternal] life.

LUKE 8
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

1-PETER 1
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible [seed], by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

EPHESIANS 1
13a In whom [speaking of Christ Jesus] ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation [the Word of God]: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed [into the Kingdom Of God] with that holy Spirit [You were Born Again] . . .

REVELATION 3
20 Behold, I [Christ Jesus/The Word] stand at the door [of Your Heart], and knock: if any man hear my voice [the Word of God], and open the door, I will come in to him [by the power of the Holy Spirit], and will sup with him, and he with me.

"IF YOUR DESIRE IS TO WILLINGLY CONSUME THE WORD AND THE SPIRIT: THE ORIGINAL FLESH AND BLOOD OF CHRIST JESUS AND HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, MAKE THIS PRAYER YOUR OWN"

Dear God, I am truly sorry, please forgive me for breaking Your Laws (¹sinning against You); I change my mind from my way, to Your Way, and will live my life according to that change of mind (²I repent). Jesus, I believe that You are the Christ (Messiah) the Son Of God; that You died on the Cross as payment for my sins; that You were buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Jesus, I put my faith in you; please cleanse me with Your Sinless ³Blood; reconcile me unto God the Father. Have the Holy Spirit enter into my body and become one with my spirit: cause me to be 4Born Again. I now personally receive You Christ Jesus as my Lord, and Savior. Thank You Lord Jesus for Saving me. Amen.

¹1-John 3:4b Sin is the transgression [breaking] of the law.
²Luke 13:3 I [Christ Jesus] tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish [in Hell].
³Hebrews 9:22b & 1-John 1:7d, "Without [the] shedding of blood [there] is no remission [forgiveness]"..."The
blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin [broken laws]".
4John 3:3e Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
